7 fish in a desert is a dear collaboration between two friends, snare drum artist and improviser Etienne Nillesen and composer Elena Rykova. Etienne started with a recording of his snare drum improvisation and sent it to Elena who then improvised to it on the electric guitar and then made a composition out of the recorded material. While being physically located in different places, they met in the universe of sound that both are very passionate about.
